April Snow de nouveau en France !
Dernière nouvelle ! Après une semaine d'interruption, aujourd'hui mercredi 27 Septembre, April Snow est de nouveau dans les salles Françaises.Le film est projeté au théâtre Majestic à Lisieux le samedi à 18h20 et le lundi à 20h45 et au théâtre Odyssée à Strasbourg le mardi à 18h45.
Vive April Snow !

Good news, camille. I just don't know how the theatre decides to bring back AS? Unless it's a new release, how do they know there is a demand, a survey?

Eh oui, j'étais assez surprise par ce retour et j'en suis très heureuse.

It's still the original version. I guess that Pretty Pictures (the French company distributor for AS) has found some theatres which are willing to screen AS.
It means that AS is well apreciated here because there are lots of new movies released each week, and AS is an old movie compared to them.
I think the second reason is that in the beginning AS was released in a very small number of theatres as french people doesn't know dir Hur nor YJ, so there are lots of city where the movie wasn't screened. As AS has received very good reviews from famous French movie magazines, it's an argument for Pretty Pictures to decide the theatres of these cities to screen the movie.
Just my 2 cents.
Anyway I'm very happy for this long run.
Thanks camille for the explanation. So it's the work of the distributor which negotiate with theatres again based on the favourable reviews. Make perfect sense to me! Bravo April Snow!
