Some dialogues in April Snow version DC !
This is the translation of some adding scenes in April Snow version DC I would like to share with some Bae sis who have seen it but don’t understand Korean nor Japanese like me.Seo-Young : Hello !
In-Su : Hello ! This is....... (motel) room 205. Now I'm in Seoul. I'll be staying here for several days.
Seo-Young : I see. My mobile phone number? 010....
In-Su : And? (He keeps writing down the remaining numbers.) Did you have a meal ? (literally he said, "did you have a meal ?" so here 'meal' could be a 'lunch', 'dinner', or maybe 'breakfast' depending upon the time.)
Seo-Young : Yes. Bye.
(She hangs up the phone.)
In-Su : There lived a husband and a wife. Taking a walk, they came across a man living next door. The man said to the wife : "Oh, I almost couldn't recognize you with clothes on!" It turned out that they were members of the same swimming center in the neighborhood.
Seo-Young : (just smiling)
In-Su : I'm sorry...
In-Su : They don't sell eels (in Korea, eels are known good for virility.)
Soo-Jin : No, there's no place where they don't sell eels. They live in waters nation-wide.
In-Su : Okay. I have to see your face. Soo-Jin who is prepossesed with eels. Your eyes turned strange...
(They both laugh)
Soo-Jin : sexy? obba, watch your driving! My mom says, eels are 'the best'!In-In-Su : It depends upon who he is.
Soo-Jin : How about making a love?
In-Su : (no response)
Soo-Jin : Do you love someone, don't you?
In-Su : Yes...
Soo-jin : From next month, I'm going to resume my work.
In-Su : Are you? That's good for you.
Soo-Jin : Let's.... get separated.
(In-Su turns to take Soo-Jin in his arm tightly).

O Camille,
Thank you thank you, you must have read my mind! I lent AS DC to my MIL last week (see, she's so addicted to BYJ now, she's eager to watch him even without Eng sub). She asked me what the conversation is with the added scene. I just went "ahhhhhhhhh? well, use your imagination. hahaha!" You're a lifesaver, I can call her up and tell her now.
Thank you and your Japanese friend for sharing.
Dear Jaime
You're very welcome. I think we all wanted to know what they said in the adding scenes, it's why I asked a dear Korean sis to translate for me (he he this time it's not alinne).
I'm also very glad about my little contribution to make your MIL becoming our YJ's fan, yippy!
What do you think Seo-Young asks In-soo when he wakes up after their first time?
"Slept well?" Or, perhaps "Caught up on the sleep you missed last night?" (this would tell us that he confided to her - offscreen - that he'd been unable to sleep the previous night, presumably because of the father-in-law interruption the night before -- sorry, I can't resist speculating)
To which In-soo answers "Yes". I find the way he says that absolutely adorable. He sounds like a child and yet... I'm glad this scene was added.
Hi Gosijo,
Sorry I forgot to ask our sis to translate this part but for me it seems obvious that she asked him "slept well".
Me too, I'm glad this scene was added because it shows a difference between "before" and "after". Before they are not at ease with each other, especially Seo-Young, she was very shy when she came out of the bathroom. And after she smiled to him, got in his arms naturally, they are very sweet.
ah... i needed this, camille! :p
thanks much much!
You're very welcome, dear bb.
