Aujourd’hui, Mercredi 1er Novembre, April Snow n’est plus présent dans les salles Françaises. Est-ce que c’est définitif ? La suite nous le dira.En attendant, j’ai traduit une critique d’April Snow du site Oh My Gore. Elle a été écrite lors du Festival asiatique de Deauville en mars 2006. On trouve également d’autres critiques de certains films Coréens présents à ce festival.

In-Su and Seo-Young go to the hospital because they have just learned that their spouse had a serious car accident. Whereas these two are in a deep coma, In-su and Seo-Young discover that they maintained a extra-marital relation.
>> Review: Everything begins in a bad way for the two heroes of this story, a priori tragic… First, the announcement of the car accident whose their respective spouses were victims, then the unbearable discovery of their affair… In-Su and Seo-Young will feel successively sadness, hatred, humiliation, pain and incomprehension. A whirl of feelings which will bring them together in the adversity. The meetings in the hospital’s corridors are transformed quickly into an incipient complicity then a torrid passion, through which each one will bandage their own wounds. An original scenario and at the end a rather optimistic one in contrast with the plot of the movie and the dramatic circumstances in which the two characters get to know each other. A very beautiful story full of poetry about adultery but most of all about love…

Est-ce que je me souviens correctement que vous avez assisté à ce festival? Quel programme!
Je viens de visiter le site pour le reel asian international film festival à Toronto à partir du 15 novembre (http://www.reelasian.com/films.php). Je ne reconnais aucun titres. Je pense qu'il incluent des courts m╬trages et des documentaires. Il me semble que ce n'est pas le genre de festival qui montrerait les film avec des acteurs bien connus.
Non, je n'ai pas été à Deauville, j'étais au Festival Cinéma, Costumes et Modes à Paris. Par contre, c'est intéressant de lire les critiques de ce site sur les films présents au festival de Deauville car elles reflètent également les autres critiques françaises (ex Wuji ou Duelist ont eu les pires critiques ici)
