Insu, un mot Français !
Quand on traduit par Babel fish ou Google traduction le mot Insu, le nom du principal personnage du film April Snow joué par Yong Joon, on obtient Knowledge. (Peut-être ailleurs qu’en France, ça s’écrit différemment mais ici, c’était Insu dans la plupart des critiques dont j’avais entrepris la traduction en anglais).La première fois que j’ai vu cette traduction, j’ai été très surprise et amusée. Car, par un concours de circonstance, le personnage que joue Yong Joon dans son premier film projeté en France s’appelle « insu » et c’est un mot français, bien qu’on utilise toujours l’expression « à l’insu de » qui veut dire « without the knowledge of » et jamais uniquement le mot insu.
Malgré tout, je suis très contente de cet heureux hasard car, de tous les noms coréens compliqués à retenir pour nous, c’était un nom qui peut être assimilé à un mot français qui lui est donné dans April Snow.
Ou alors c’est peut-être le destin, qui sait ?

Thanks for sharing this info with us. It's really meant to be the knowledge be associated with Insu because the movies plot started and ended around him knowing about the adulterty of his partner and coming to a full circle of knowing what it's like.
