Coupe du Monde de Football !
Aujourd’hui débute la Coupe du Monde de football en Allemagne. La France et la Corée sont dans le même groupe et vont se rencontrer le dimanche 18 Juin.Yong Joon adore le football et est lui-même un grand supporteur de l’équipe nationale coréenne. N’étant pas un grand fan de foot, néanmoins j’aime bien Zidane (notre Zizou national). Et je m’aperçois que Yong Joon et Zizou ont beaucoup de points communs :
- ils sont nés tous les deux en 1972
- malgré leur statut de superstar, ils sont dans la vie des hommes bons, gentils, modestes et généreux : Zizou avec l’association ELA (assosiation Européenne contre les Leucodystrophies) et Yong Joon avec tous les dons qu’il donne chaque année à divers associations.
La grande différence qui exite entre eux deux c'est que Zizou est heureux en mariage avec 4 enfants tandis que Yong Joon cherche toujours l'âme soeur.
Alors un grand dilemme se pose pour moi : pour lequel des 2 équipes je souhaiterai la victoire ? Réponse : aucun. Un match nul sera parfait.
Yong Joon ssi, j’espère que vous pourrez quand même suivre les matchs même si vous vous trouvez dans ce pays perdu qu’est le Kyrgyzstan pour le tournage de votre nouvelle série. Rendez-vous donc le 18 Juin, et malgré la distance qui nous sépare, j'espère que nous pourrons pour une fois un point commun : regarder ce match en même temps et que le meilleur gagne.

Oh camille, it's June 18 - Korea vs France? I'd better mark that day on my calendar - even though I have zero interest in soccer. Cheers Korea! Cheers France!

Oh~korea vs france....this match put you in a dilemma, doesn't it ?
It is a competition between very strong teams...in fact, I am at a loss which teams I should cheer up.
But this time I will cheer for your country!

Dear Hirorin, thank you thank you for your support, France and Korea will start to play on June 13th, let's cheer to both of them, and to Japan too.
Yes camille, Canadians are quite excited about the World Cup. You know there are a lot of immigrants living in Toronto from Europe and Korea. Everywhere on the streets, I can see cars donning different flags : Italy, France, Germany, Brazil and of course Korea. After every match, there are parties on the streets in Korean town, Italian district etc.. Everyone is cheering for their own country.
You must be proud, like Yong Joon, that your country is participating. Do French children play a lot of soccer? It's getting more interests in N. America now, even though baseball is still dominating here.

What a dillema with both Korea and France battling it out for a place in the finals. I want to watch that game but it will be 3:00 am here in the Phil and I do need my sleep. Anyway fighting for them!!!

Actually, I love soccer.
And my son - LOOOOOVES soccer!
He woke up at 3:30 this morning to watch Poland vs. Ecuador...
He claims he actually wants to see ALL the games live, which is way out of the question.
Mid-term exams next week!

Soccer is the first sport here, French children play it a lot. Our country is participing to World Cup but they are not very good now, I hope they will pass the first round.
Marissa, we have more chance than you this time as World cup is in Germany so we don't have to stay till 3:AM to watch the match. Tuesday when France will play against Swiss, it will be at 6:pm here, I think a lot of men will leave their office soon to watch it.
Wow, Flowerbossa, you love soccer ? It's not easy to find women who like this. My hubby and my sons love it too but fortunately school will end soon so there isn't any exam any more.
