April Snow version DC !
D’après alinne, hier était la dernière projection de AS version DC à Tokyo dans une salle de 650 places où les places ont déjà été toutes réservées.A partir de maintenant, les Bae sisters Japonaises ne pourront plus le voir qu'en DVD.
Je pense que malgré mon âge, je suis de celles qui sont plutôt romantiques dans l'âme avec un côté fleur bleue, car j'ai bien aimé dans cette version DC le développement des rapports entre In Su et Seo Young avant leur première scène intime.
Et comme dit Gosijo, le réalisateur a très bien su nous montrer comment In-Su et Seo-Young étaient gênés et mal à l’aise dans la chambre d’hôtel avant de passer à l’acte. Seo-Young n’osait même pas venir s’asseoir à côté d’In Su lorsqu’elle sortait de la salle de bain !
Mais quelle différence après avoir fait l’amour ! Elle pliait amoureusement les vêtements d’In Su, et se jetait spontanément dans ses bras à son réveil. N’est-ce pas là les gestes d’une femme amoureuse ?
Et que dire de plus en voyant un In-Su plus souriant, plus détendu auprès de Seo-Young ?
Cet homme est quasi parfait ! Il accepte de renoncer à son nouvel amour et continue de s’occuper de sa femme en faisant les courses, la cuisine malgré la souffrance et l’humiliation que sa femme lui avait fait subir lors de son infidélité. Et même quand ils sont d’accord pour se séparer, il l’a pris dans ses bras, comme pour la consoler. Cela prouve bien qu’il a épousé sa femme par amour.
Reste pour moi le Mystère avec un grand M : comment une femme saine d’esprit pourra préférer un autre quand elle a un mari comme In-Su ?
Et voici la fin : Is-su et Seo-Young, souriants et ensemble. Cependant je préfère nettement la fin de la version originale.
PS: J'ai adoré cette scène vers la fin quand in-Su allait à la rencontre de Seo-Young, on le voit marcher dans la neige sur les traces de pas de Seo-Young.

I agree with you, the many encounters between Insoo and Seoyoung before they made love make that scene even more desirable and attractive. Understanding the development of their affection towards each other allows me to silently hope for their reunion at the end.
While in the original AS, it was more like a sexual attraction at the spur of the moment under very difficult circumstances, in ASDC it's more like a love story slowly in development.
Yes, he's so beautiful and gentle, who in the right mind will have an affair behind this man's back?

As Bae family, it is so difficult to be SUBJECTIVE about this film (not that there is a real need!).
But thanks to you, we learned that there are people out there who like this film regardless of BYJ's previous reputation.
After all is said and done, I think I still like the original version...

Just to change things around, and since the original post is in French, I'll write in English this time (this is very French Canadian these days, btw).
I can only comment on the strength of one viewing of AS DC. I think it will take me more time to decide which version I ultimately prefer, if any.
I totally agree that it was really nice to see In-su smile more. Also, I couldn't help noticing how even more emphasis was put on Seo-young's playfulness and spontaneity. This seems to be a very important element in creating a bridge of friendship with In-su. For him, as I decipher it, this is a very attractive trait and he finds a way to match it by showing up at the bus station in Seoul. This whole Seoul segment made a lot more sense to me in the DC. I also really liked the hesitation between them when he dropped her off; how he reached for her bag on the back seat and handed it to her instead of getting out of the vehicle to say a proper goodbye. Seems like they were both afraid of what they felt at that moment -- the friendship had suddenly shifted onto dangerous grounds.
Later, he essentially tells her how attractive he finds her when she is playful and spontaneous, with that kiss on the bridge (I'm only realizing the symbolism as I write this and perhaps if was not even intentional on the part of Director Hur) in the cave.
Now, if only we could know what they were saying to each other in a few of the scenes where we haven't yet found out!

You're right, it's difficult for us to be subjective about AS.
And I love both versions but still prefer the ending of the original ones.

Although you just saw AS DC 1 time but you're so observant, I always enjoy reading your review. I hope some days we can watch AS DC with English subtitle too, because there're some scenes I would like to know what In-Su has said.

Merci pour les informations. Eh bien, non, je ne connais pas les autres chansons d'Elsa. Très belles paroles, en effet. Je dois dire que mon "décrochage" (s'il y a un tel mot) de la chanson française date de bien longtemps, 1977, quand je suis déménagée en Ontario. Dommage!
