DVD April Snow released in France !
Une fois n’est pas coutume, aujourd’hui je vais essayer de blogger en anglais pour parler de la sortie du coffret DVD d’April Snow en France pour mes Bae sisters anglophones.Ce lundi a aussi une signification particulière pour moi car il y a un an, c’est la première fois que j’ai vu Yong Joon de mes propres yeux à l’aéroport Gimpo, le lundi 9 avril 2007, à 10.30 du soir. Oh moment furtif mais inoubliable !
Finally, April Snow will be released in France in a DVD box set with 2 others movies of director Hur Jin-Ho, Christmas in August and One Fine Spring Day. The price is 29,99 euros and the DVDs are available for zone 2 only.
However, Amazon.fr and Alapage.com announce the release of the DVD box set on March 18th while for Fnac , it’s scheduled on April 18th. (Fnac is a big and famous French store which sells all kind of cultural and technical products like books, DVDs, games, computers, camera, MP3, ….)
Personally, I opt for April 18th and I think that not only Fnac but others stores will sell it from this date too. Anyway I will update here if I have any news.
PS : Yesterday afternoon and last night, we had snow in Paris. Snowing is generally rare in Paris, and snow in April is even more. I wonder if it's the first time I have an April Snow in Paris !

The price would come out to just under $50 CAD. This reminds me, I forgot to mention to both of you that I was able to get April Snow Special Edition in HK last summer for 49 HKD - from HMV, discounted - i.e. less than $7 CAD or 4 Euros. Can't remember the zone but it's not the same as NA, though. However, this is comparing apples to oranges as we all know. I think the price of the HJH box with French subs is quite good and, as you say, Jaime, truly a collectors' item.
Love that they used April Snow as the main selling point! Seems to me they rotated the main pic, no? Hehe, they wanted his beautiful half profile in the centre.

Yes, I think it has French subtitle, I'm impatient to buy this box set very much.
29,99 euros for 3 movies, it's not expensive as generally a new movie is selling at 19,99 euros here.
Gosijo, en fait il a neigé dans tout le nord et l'ouest de la France, mais c'est dommage que la neige ne tient pas longtemps à Paris.
C'est drôle, quand j'ai vu la neige, la première chose qui me venait à l'esprit c'est InSu et le film April Snow, j'avais même presque crié de joie ha ha.

About the main pic on the box set, must say that I love love it he he, because of a beautiful profile like Gosijo has pointed out.

De la neige au moi d'avril, ça ne reste presque jamais... Je me souviens d'une très belle neige que nous avons eu ici en avril 2005, l'année d'AS. Elle a tombée pendant 2 jours sans s'accumuler. C'était des gros flocons ouateux, de la neige romantique...
Pour l'édition spéciale, il y a le disque bonus, que tu as probablement déjà, ainsi que quelques cartes postales.
So, let us know about the subs. I remember seeing the ones on the French AS trailer and finding them excellent.

Yes, this year we have April snow in Paris, it's very rare you know. I still don't see the April Snow box set in the DVD stores yet, but I will look for it when I come back home after my one week vacation.
